I’ve discovered it is a lot easier to fight sin by finding a greater pleasure in Christ than what the sin can offer.
A short one minute segment taken from the sermon “Gazing on the glory of God”.

Cool, thanks for sharing that Bill. I love your answer for fighting sin as Jesus is the most beautiful, pleasureful answer to in this fight. Put on Christ!
I hope you don’t mind if I throw this video up on my blog too… give you a little advertising.
blessing to you!
Hey Joey. Thanks for the encouraging words. Please do post it up on your site. We could use all the help we can get in planting this new church.
Sure thing Bill… And if you need any help with the blog or have any questions on how to do certain things, just let me know.
Saw Joey’s link and found your blog. Congratulations! I know God will really use it.
After watching your little video I immediately thought of this quote I’d just read this morning by Findlay:
“There is no way of conquering the world’s affections and casting out its lusts but by the power of a stronger passion. God must fill the man’s being and occupy it for Himself; nothing else will expel the world with its vain desires and its sordid and slavish cares, from the temple of the soul.”
Amen Littleservant! That is the message we need to get out.
Wow, I love that quote little servant! Why don’t we hear that kind of stuff being preahed from the pulpit anymore?! It’s all so man centered and more of what we need to DO which is discouraging and makes us focus on the wrong thing. No wonder Christians are defeated and have compromised. Have we really taught them the power to overcome?
