Not fearing our weakness is one of the lessons of the year for me personally. Praise God for a merciful and strong Teacher who wants to live out His strength through those very weaknesses.
It wasn’t until I went through some of the darkest years of my life in utter mental crushing, spiritual oppression , physical suffering and brokenness that I could learn the greatest lessons of my life. Verses like “My grace is sufficient for thee for My power is made prefect in weakness” came alive to me and I was able to learn how to trust God in ways I never could have known before. It threw me on the scriptures and forced me to learn how to apply the very BOOK I professed to believe in. Our brokenness is sweet before God. It will taste sweet to us as we see it bringing us the intimacy we long for with God.
