This was definately a new one for me! I didn’t know that money could buy an answer to prayer from a “chosen Christian Prayer Helper” for only $9.99, who will “pray for you with all of their heart, asking Him to hear your prayer”. But what I do know is, God’s word says that He “freely” gives to all…all those who believe in Him. “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for calamity to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call upon Me and come and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. You will seek Me and find Me when you search Me with all your heart.” Jeremiah 29: 11-13
I think I’ll stick with having Jesus and the Holy Spirit pray for me. I won’t need a credit card every time.
I guess next they will be selling indulgences again…we certainly all need forgiveness as well
Wow! This is unbelievable! Modern day charlatans if you ask me. You can tell they are trying real hard to sound “Christian” but they don’t pass the test. No real Christian would have the gall to charge for prayer let alone some of the other things they say ie. their view and wording on the Catholic Church.
In the Philippines, one can go to a cathedral and there are people like this that you pay to pray They not only pray for you, but would even crawl on their knees up the aisle for you, some even beat themselves for you, depending on what you were willing to pay.
I wonder if this group will also have “upgrades” for “special prayers.”

This is just so sad.
Here in Romania, when Tim or I have offered to pray for someone we have often seen them hesitate at first until we assure them that we don’t charge anything. Apparently it is a common practice in the “Orthodox” church to pay for prayers.
Bill, It never ceases to amaze me what people will do in the name of God. the sad part is that some people probably send the money. so sad.

No problem SelahV. I’ve been comforted greatly by the Devotional Christian site and thank you for stopping by here.
If Jesus himself is constantly interceding on our behalf, and God knows each of us so intimately, to even know what we need before we pray, hears every thought, knows our heart. What would be the use in paying some one else? Paying some one to talk with God for us is crazy! What kind of relationship would that be? Where would the love be? If My son paied a stranger to talk to me because he was too busy, I would feel very unloved.
I have a feeling they are preying on those who are so desperate they are willing to try anything. It wouldn’t surprise me one bit if they are making quite a bit of money.

They are! One of their pages talks about needing more prayer warriors. I already sent in my application (OK, maybe that’s a lie).
